In the heart of Verona, the Don Bosco institute has been teaching talented students the basics for success for over 127 years; a team made up of our students, the IDB Tech-No-Logic, has been working on robotics and technology.
This year, these young people participated in the FIRST LEGO League competition for the third consecutive time under the leadership of Computer Science Professor Luca Zanetti and took first place in the world.
What is FIRST® LEGO® League?
FIRST® LEGO® League is a worldwide challenge revolving around science and robotics between teams of young people from the age of 9 to 16who design, build and code automate to seek out innovative solutions for applications of great general interest, including ecology, the economy and society.
These young people fall in love with science while having fun and acquiring knowledge and skills which will serve them well in their future careers. Participating teams must demonstrate that they can comply with the fundamental values of the competition, i.e. being able to work in teams and respect the other participants.
The values of renewal and cooperation are at the basis of this event, and the drive for innovation of the contestants are the pillars of our company.
As in the previous years, we are excited and overwhelmed by the enthusiasm shown by these young talents.
We support young people and progress and trust in these youngsters who hold high the standards of Italian ingeniousness in the world.
